Do you need a mouthpiece patch?
Mouthpiece patches are often suggested to starting saxophone players for two reasons - protect the mouthpiece from teeth marks and keep teeth firmly on the mouthpiece without slipping.
The patches also reduce the sound vibrations from the mouthpiece onto the teeth which some found quite irritating, and since many players proved through trials and recordings that there is no tone difference, it seems that whenever you need one or not, you might consider trying using one.
We have brought some clear patches for you to try it: new in stock - 0.8 mm clear mouthpieces patches - 0.50 each or 3.60 for a card of 8pcs.
